Through a six-week coaching program, participants learn to automate and optimize their businesses using cutting-edge tools and systems. The course caters to entrepreneurs at all stages and facilitates rapid breakthroughs in achieving Business Freedom.

Topics covered include the importance of reasonable salary structures, strategies for growth and impact, and maintaining health and relationships while building a highly efficient company.

Business Freedom Is Important

Business Freedom is crucial for several reasons:

  1. Health and Well-being: Without Business Freedom, entrepreneurs often find themselves overworked and stressed, leading to burnout and health issues. Achieving Freedom allows individuals to maintain a balanced lifestyle, prioritizing their physical and mental well-being.
  2. Quality of Life: Business Freedom gives entrepreneurs more control over their time and resources. They can spend more time with family and friends, pursue hobbies, and enjoy leisure activities, leading to a higher quality of life overall.
  3. Creativity and Innovation: When day-to-day operational tasks do not bog down entrepreneurs, they can focus on innovation and creativity within their company. This can lead to the development of new products, services, and strategies that drive growth and success.
  4. Scalability and Growth: Freedom allows for the implementation of scalable systems and processes that enable businesses to grow without being dependent on the founder’s constant involvement. This scalability is essential for long-term success and expansion.
  5. Impact and Legacy: With Freedom, entrepreneurs can focus on making a meaningful impact in their industries and communities. They can dedicate time and resources to causes they care about, leaving a lasting legacy beyond just financial success.

The 8 Paths To Business Freedom

8 Paths to Business Freedom

Use the 8 Paths Assessment to identify your ideal entrepreneurial path. There are eight entrepreneurial paths, each easier for you than the others. When you get your results, remember that this is a guideline; it does not mean you must follow the guidance provided.

The idea here is to see how you feel about the various paths and then, ultimately, set your professional life up so that you get to spend most of your time in passion or flow-states.

Discovering your ideal path will help you to:

  1. Build a business around your core abilities and your natural flow.
  2. Recruit people into positions that will support you on your path.
  3. Build phenomenal teams, a team with each person working in their flow.

My highest score was The Path of Negotiation, at 56%.

  1. The Path of Negotiation

The Path of Negotiation generally involves making deals, bringing together people with complementary resources, and building something bigger and better together.

Crucial to mastering the Path of Negotiation is to pay close attention to the people in their network to sort for quality rather than quantity. By understanding the needs and resources within their network, they can create the most value for themselves and, of course, for themselves.

Others who have successfully walked this path before you include David Geffen, Henry Kravis, and Rupert Murdoch.

The other seven went in this order:

  1. The Path of Celebrity – 44%

This Path generally involves creating an influential brand. The Path of Celebrity generally involves influence; it can mean becoming a world-class influencer. It also means walking carefully between enjoying the attention and being inaccessible.

Crucial to mastering the Path of Celebrity is to learn how to communicate effectively and to use your attraction and influence to promote other people’s creations.

Others who have successfully walked this path before you include Oprah Winfrey, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Martha Stewart.

  1. The Path of Creativity – 40%

The Path of Creativity generally involves innovation, the creation of new and potentially disruptive products or services. Crucial to mastering the Path of Creativity is to learn the art of finishing things, either on your own or, ideally, by assembling a team of people who enjoy finishing and managing things.

Sir Richard Branson, Steve Jobs, Thomas Edison, and Walt Disney are among others who have successfully walked this path before you.

  1. The Path of Leverage – 39%

The Path of Leverage involves finding ways to drive revenues from assets or, more specifically, the rights to assets.

Those who excel on the Path of Leverage generally avoid the limelight; they value numbers and information over people. They also tend to go deep; when they find an opportunity, they will methodically ‘mine’ that niche for maximum profits.

Others who have successfully walked this path before you include John D. Rockefeller, Lakshmi Mittal, and Andrew Carnegie.

  1. The Path of Trends/Timing – 38%

The Path of Timing is well suited to people with a grounded sense of time who may be good at observing and predicting trends.

This path involves making money by buying and selling assets and attempting to profit: buying high, selling low.

Jim Rogers, Sir John Templeton, and Peter Lynch are among others who have successfully walked this path before you.

  1. The Path of Systems – 37%

The Path of Systems is ideal for people who love details and favor duplication and replication over innovation.

A key aspect of walking the Path of systems is the constant desire or compulsion to improve things. If they resist the temptation to get caught up in the details, they can build influential organizations that produce consistent results.

Others who have successfully walked this path before you include Ray Croc, Sam Walton, and Jeff Bezos.

  1. The Path of Value/Analysis – 28%

The Path of Analysis is perhaps the least exciting but the safest of the paths. It is a path that involves a systematic review of data, evaluation of value, and the slow accumulation of wealth.

Patience, or being willing to say no until the right deal comes, is crucial to mastering the Path of Analysis.

Others who have successfully walked this path before you include Warren Buffet, Phil Town, and Carlos Slim.

Business Freedom Blueprint Review Notes

Below, I will share some of my notes.

Leadership

Today, we will discuss self-development and how you can develop mental toughness as a company owner.

There are three addictions we have to break to achieve Business Freedom:

  1. Your company’s addiction to you.
  2. Your clients’ addiction to you.
  3. Your addiction to your company.

Setting the Course Pt. 1

We are going to create a draft of your new business plan. (If you already have a business plan, please play along and brush it up as we go through each step.

This week’s idea is not to complete a perfect final business plan but to start the process and clarify your business plans.

Note: The critical aspect of your business plan is the three questions you need to ask to clarify your plans for your business. Please answer the questions in your workbook and use them as a template for your business plan.

Revenue Attraction Plan

Today, we are going to work on your revenue plan. You must get clear about your marketing plan and sales structure. We can’t use the ‘if we build it, they will come’ school of business.

Homework

  1. Write a description of your current marketing plans.
  2. Provide a description of your sales structure now and in the future.
  3. Share your insights with the Tribe. Has your description of the sales structure changed since you began this quest?

Financial Forecasting

Knowing where you are headed financially leads to better sleep and easier cash flow management; most business failures are cash flow and cash management failures.

Homework

  • Set some personal financial goals:
  • Write down your income goals for the next three years.
  • Plan out your retirement contribution for the next three years.
  • Plan your Material/Experiential spending over the next three years.
  • Write down your Monthly Sales Goals for the next three years.
  • Write down your Monthly Profit Goals for the next three years.
  • Write down your Cash Flow Projection for the next 12 months.
  • Take 2 hours off from work today and do anything else you wish.

Exit Strategies

Do you need an exit strategy?

To make any exit strategy work, you need to have made a series of mini-exits; the business needs to be able to run without you.

Key Learning Points

  • Every business requires an exit strategy.
  • To make your exit strategy work, you need to have made a series of mini-exits because the business needs to be able to run without you.
  • A role map will help you decide your exit strategy by highlighting the roles you wish to exit as your business grows.

Serving Notice

  1. You must leave your organization’s red roles to grow your business and improve your quality of life.
  2. Most business owners encounter resistance to leaving these roles because:
  • They are afraid of the cost.
  • They are just too busy.
  • They have an emotional reason for not giving up that role.

Procedures, Policies, and Templates

For your business to be able to operate without you one day, it has to know how; procedures and templates are the keys to making this happen.

Business Freedom Blueprint: Key Learning Points

  1. Procedures, Policies, and templates are the keys to making your business less reliant on your presence.
  2. If you don’t do this:
  • It will be hard and stressful to turn over these roles.
  • Training will be challenging, time-consuming, and ineffective.
  • If your business survives, it will only do so by you working crazy hours and being stressed.

Business Freedom Blueprint: Key Learning Points

  1. The best recruiting strategy is retention. It is much cheaper to keep good-quality people than to keep recruiting and training new people.
  2. Employees have seven needs that must be met; it is only a question of how.

Homework

  1. Come up with three strategies for making sure that each of your employees’ needs are being met:
  • Certainty
  • Variety
  • Connection
  • Significance
  • Growth
  • Contribution
  • Meaning
