How do solar flares affect human emotions, behavior, and moods?
Are you having solar flare symptoms?
Can solar flares affect sleep and make you feel tired?
Is this part of the ascension process?
Solar flares are powerful bursts of energy and radiation from the sun’s surface.
These intense outbursts can affect Earth, affecting our technological infrastructure and health.
While we often hear about solar flares’ impact on satellite communications and power grids, it is essential to explore their potential effects on human health.
The sun constantly emits powerful bursts of energy known as solar flares — massive explosions driven by shifts in its magnetic field.
When these events occur, they can disrupt satellites, radio communications, and even power grids here on Earth.
But beyond the technological effects, many people wonder: can solar flares affect us physically? More specifically, can they make you feel unusually tired?
Reports of fatigue, brain fog, headaches, and sleep disturbances often spike during periods of heightened solar activity.
While these experiences are real for many individuals, the scientific connection between solar flares and human energy levels remains a topic of debate.
To understand whether the sun could be influencing how you feel, it’s important to separate measurable science from speculation — and explore what we actually know about solar activity and the human body.

What Are Solar Flares?
The Definition of Solar Flares According to NASA, a solar flare is an intense burst of radiation caused by the release of magnetic energy associated with sunspots. Flares are our solar system’s largest explosive events.
They are seen as bright areas in the sun, lasting from minutes to hours. We typically see a solar flare by the photons (or light) it releases at almost every spectrum wavelength. The primary ways we monitor flares are in X-rays and optical light.
Flares are also sites where particles (electrons, protons, and heavier particles) are accelerated.
GPS, Cable, Satellite, Cell phones, and so on. Solar flares are explosive hiccups that spew high-energy particles and radiation away from the Sun.
Changes in the Earth’s ionosphere caused by such flares can affect the strength and quality of radio communications and introduce uncertainty into satellite-based navigation tools, such as the Global Positioning System.
That’s nice, but how are they affecting us mentally, emotionally, and energetically? Do they make us sick? I believe that everything in our physical reality is actively connected and that our reality is like a hologram.
One small part is symbolic of the whole. So, if the Sun is flaring up, is humanity also flaring up? There is no separation between anything in our physical reality, even though the brain decodes it for us that way.
Solar Flares and Their Causes
Solar flares are caused by the release of magnetic energy stored in the sun’s atmosphere.
They can affect people mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Highly sensitive people (HSPs) will have more difficulty than most people.
Solar flares aren’t random. They’re pressure releases.
The sun is basically a massive nuclear reactor with a magnetic field that’s constantly twisting, snapping, and reconfiguring.
When does that magnetic energy build up and suddenly release? Boom. Solar flare. It’s not chaos — it’s stored energy finding a way out.
Think of it like this: when tension builds in a system long enough, it has to discharge. On the sun, that discharge is an intense burst of radiation. The root cause is magnetic field lines getting tangled near sunspots.
When they realign, they release insane amounts of energy in minutes — more than millions of hydrogen bombs combined.
No emotion. No intention. Just physics.
Here’s the takeaway: massive outputs come from massive build-ups. Whether it’s a star or a person, energy doesn’t disappear — it accumulates until something forces a release.
Solar flares are just the sun’s version of that principle.
Solar Flare Symptoms
What are the symptoms, and do they affect us spiritually? What effect do they have on Earth?
A solar flare is a giant explosion on the surface of our Sun that occurs when magnetic field lines from sunspots tangle and erupt. It is a sudden, rapid, and intense variation in brightness.
Whenever such changes occur, unprecedented shifts in human consciousness occur. Since it is known that our Moon affects our emotions, can the Sun also affect our emotions?
Do solar flares affect the Earth, technology, the body, human behavior, and people?
They will begin to have a noticeable impact on us to some degree.
You will feel the intensity emanating from the Sun as it pulsates through every cell of your body.
Solar flare activity is becoming more intense, and unless we wake up to the fact that they are affecting our behavior and learn to ground ourselves, we are in for tough times ahead.
The Sun has undergone massive change and turbulence recently, as seen by the recent Flares. Each time the Sun expresses energy, it sends information throughout our Solar System.
Lately, we have been experiencing intense solar activity affecting humans.
The Human Body & the Sun Connection
Solar activity affects the body and its mental states. After researching the topic, I found some helpful information. So, how does the Sun impact humans?
I found this information in David Icke’s book, Human Race Get Off Your Knees: The Lion Sleeps No More, where he talks about a conversation with the British psychic Carol Clarke.
Clarke tells Icke about her vivid dream with the famed Cosmologist Carl Sagan. The latter appeared and discussed photons, the basic unit of light and other forms of electromagnetic radiation.
More from David Icke’s Book:
Black holes resonate the frequency, and different frequencies trigger different levels of information – awareness – to be emitted from the Sun in the form of photons. The photon energy – chi – flows through the body’s meridian network – information from the Sun.
Different levels of resonance (vibration) “unlock” different levels of information.
Black Holes resonate a new vibration, which causes the Sun to emit another level of data—the Truth Vibrations that David wrote about in 1990.
These vibrations are transforming human perception of self and the World, bringing the “Control System” (the powers that be) to an end.
A 16-year study by German astronomers confirmed a giant black hole at the center of our galaxy. It is estimated to be 27,000 light-years from Earth and 4 million times the size of the Sun.
The Royal Astronomical Society said the results suggest that galaxies form around giant black holes, like a pearl forming around grit.
Solar activity is known to influence human health and emotions.
Solar flares affect the central nervous system (stomach lining), all brain activity (including balance), human behavior, and all psycho-physiological (mental-emotional-physical) responses, and they can also affect sleep.
Can Solar Flares Make You Tired?
Short answer? There’s no solid scientific proof that solar flares directly make you tired.
Here’s what actually happens:
When the sun releases a flare, it sends out bursts of radiation. If it’s strong enough and aimed at Earth, it can mess with satellites, GPS, radio signals, and power grids. That’s documented. That’s measurable. That’s physics.
What’s not clearly proven? A direct cause-and-effect link between solar flares and human fatigue.
Now — here’s where it gets interesting.
Some people report:
- Feeling unusually tired
- Brain fog
- Headaches
- Irritability
- Sleep disruptions
Especially during geomagnetic storms (which can follow big solar flares).
But correlation isn’t causation.
The human body is sensitive to light cycles and electromagnetic changes — that’s how circadian rhythms work. However, the electromagnetic fluctuations from solar activity at ground level are generally too weak to directly “drain” your energy in a biological sense.
So why do people feel tired?
Most likely explanations:
- Poor sleep
- Stress
- Dehydration
- Seasonal changes
- Expectation effect (if you believe solar flares cause fatigue, your brain can amplify normal tiredness)
That said, if you’re feeling unusually fatigued during periods of high solar activity, don’t dismiss yourself — just don’t jump straight to cosmic causes either.
Practical move: Focus on sleep quality, hydration, sunlight exposure (the kind that’s good for you), and stress management first. If fatigue persists or is severe, it’s worth checking with a healthcare professional.
Bottom line: Solar flares can disrupt technology. Your energy levels? Much more likely driven by your biology and lifestyle than by the sun having a bad day.
Some studies suggest that geomagnetic storms might influence certain physiological processes in the human body, potentially affecting mood, sleep patterns, and overall well-being.
Potential for Fatigue
- Some theories suggest that geomagnetic storms, caused by strong interactions between Earth’s magnetic field and solar particles, might influence hormones and brain chemicals, potentially impacting sleep patterns and mood.
- However, these theories lack conclusive evidence, and studies haven’t consistently linked geomagnetic activity to changes in human energy levels.
Other Causes of Fatigue
- Many factors can contribute to fatigue, including stress, poor sleep habits, underlying health conditions, and medication side effects. It is important not to attribute tiredness solely to solar flares without ruling out these other factors.
What to Consider
- While a direct link between flares and fatigue hasn’t been established, some individuals might experience increased tiredness coinciding with geomagnetic storms. This could be due to indirect effects like disruptions in daily routines or heightened anxiety about the event.
- If you feel exhausted, focusing on good sleep hygiene, managing stress, and staying hydrated can be helpful regardless of the cause.
Solar Flares Symptoms
(FYI: The effects of geomagnetic storms on humans may be caused by something else.)
- nervous
- anxious
- worrisome
- jittery
- dizzy
- shaky
- irritable
- lethargic
- exhausted/tired
- have short-term memory problems
- heart palpitations
- feel nauseous
- queasy,
- experience prolonged head pressure and headaches.
Maybe you noticed these symptoms, especially if you are an empath. Just as the Moon affects the tides on Earth and human behavior, so does the Sun.
Ask any Police Officer if there is more criminal behavior on and around Full Moons; the answer is always yes.
This is where the term luna (lunar) tics comes from.
While we might associate such behavior with a Full Moon, in 1963, Dr. Robert Becker and his colleague, Dr. Freedman, demonstrated that solar changes also lead to a noticeable increase in psychotic activity.
These reactions are not isolated to a few particularly sensitive or unlucky individuals.
Evidence indicates that wars and international conflicts most often break out when sunspots are rapidly forming or decaying, as these are times of more intense geomagnetic storms.
This increase in solar activity also correlates with periods of more accidents and illnesses, as well as higher crime and murder rates. Electromagnetic pollution affects the entire biosphere, and human behavior seems to react accordingly.
New calculations suggest that dark matter particles may cause some solar flares called axions spewing out from the center of the Sun.
Solar flares are sudden increases in the Sun’s brightness caused by twisted magnetic fields snapping and reconnecting explosively.
However, they could also be caused by dark matter, the mysterious entity that makes up most of the universe’s mass – if it consists of theoretical particles called axions.
The solar flares and photon waves are changing the fabric of our physical reality. They have a powerful effect on our physical cellular level, causing our cellular memories to awaken and clear.
Our lower emotions are low-frequency energy stored in our cells from past experiences and traumas we have encountered but never processed, so they become stored as cellular memories.
Photon energy is a much higher frequency energy that pulls up the lower emotional frequency to calibrate to the higher frequency; thus, we find ourselves releasing these lower emotions of sadness and grief without knowing why.
Photonic energy connects to our thoughts, so we must know what we want rather than what we don’t wish; otherwise, we will manifest more of what we don’t want.
Effects On Humans
Many people have been feeling agitated and uneasy recently. Solar flares can break apart old patterns that are no longer needed, allowing new ones to emerge.
This can make us feel hyper and exhausted at the same time. It can also wreak havoc on technology, such as computers.
- Time and space are beginning to wobble even more erratically than before.
- We seem to be losing track of time quickly.
- We lose words when we are speaking.
- The day disappears.
- Poor or low-quality sleep.
- Many toss and turn in the night, and many have unusual dreams.
- We feel massive power surges in the body, followed by energy drops.
- Many people experience nausea, body aches and pains, and dizziness.
- Feelings of grief and despair.
- Some feel like they are walking on water (ungrounded).
- Others said that everything spins when they close their eyes at night.
- Experiencing physical and emotional sensitivity.
- visual disturbances
- inner ear issues
- buzzing in ears
- throat and thyroid issues
- cold feet
- psychotic episodes
The New Earth
2012 received so much attention because of the end of the Mayan calendar and because the Sun is sending more informational energy toward us. The Pleiadians call this the “Nano-Second.”
What we see on Earth regarding human behavior will appear shocking and outstanding. For the new information from the Sun to be downloaded, we need to let go of the old ways we have held onto for so long.
Many will act out repressed emotions, and shadow aspects of the self will be brought to the surface to be seen, healed, and integrated into ourselves instead of hidden from view.
Old institutions will be dismantled and recreated to better reflect the new version of us.
Social unrest, natural disasters, financial meltdowns, political overthrows, and personal one-on-one fighting will occur in the next four or five years.
This is part of the process of changing human perception. We can choose to participate however we want, but remember that we are all connected; we are all one, with only the illusion of being separate.
If you’re experiencing sensitivity symptoms, I highly advise focusing on your physical and emotional health.
Sadhguru On Solar Flares
Sadhguru has shared insights into the impact of solar flares on human consciousness and planetary functioning. Here’s a summary of his key points:
Increased Solar Activity. Sadhguru notes that solar flare activity has significantly increased and is expected to continue for about 6 years.
This heightened solar activity began approximately 17-18 months ago and is predicted to reach levels not seen in our lifetimes.
Impact on Earth and Human Beings
The increased solar flares substantially affect Earth’s magnetic field and radiation levels.
This, in turn, influences various aspects of human physiology:
- Digestive system
- Breathing process
- Ability to absorb nutrients
- Nervous system
- Pulmonary system
Sadhguru explains that solar flares create a volatile energy situation. Depending on how individuals and society respond, this volatility can lead to a range of outcomes.
The effects of solar flares tend to amplify existing characteristics in people:
- Meditative individuals may become more meditative
- Gentle people may become gentler
- Loving individuals may become more loving
- Those with psychological imbalances may experience increased instability
Sadhguru emphasizes that this period of increased solar activity presents both opportunities and challenges.
- It could lead to a rise in human consciousness if properly harnessed
- Alternatively, it might result in increased conflicts, psychological imbalances, or other societal issues
Sadhguru mentions that in Indian traditions, increased solar activity has been associated with various events such as wars, diseases, and psychological imbalances.
Sadhguru suggests that this period of heightened solar activity can be used constructively if people are prepared.
He recommends:
- Developing necessary spiritual practices (sadhana)
- Cultivating inner focus and strength
- Having a plan to utilize the volatile energy positively
By doing so, Sadhguru believes that human consciousness could rise more easily during this time than in other periods. (1)
Solar Flares Conclusion
At the end of the day, solar flares are powerful cosmic events — but the evidence simply doesn’t support the idea that they directly control your mood, energy, or behavior.
While some people report fatigue or brain fog during periods of high solar activity, science hasn’t established a clear biological link.
What we do know is this: your sleep, stress levels, hydration, diet, and overall health have a far greater impact on how you feel than fluctuations in the sun’s magnetic field.
It’s easy to look outward for explanations when we’re tired or off-balance, but the most reliable answers are usually much closer to home.
So if you’re feeling drained, start with the fundamentals. Take care of your body, protect your sleep, and manage stress.
The sun may be powerful — but your daily habits are far more influential when it comes to your energy and well-being.
