“The lack of money is the root of all evil.” -Mark Twain
Money- It’s the universal currency that all civilized human beings are familiar with.
We all want to get money or make money and have lots of it. So what is money?
Or precisely, how do you “see” money?
Money means something different to everyone.
It can represent power and authority.
A measurement of success or contribution.
Perhaps, some see it as only a piece of paper and they earn it just so that they can carry on with their lives. Once it’s finished spent, they’ll work again to earn it.
Now that you KNOW what money is, consider the difference between money and wealth.
Money relates to your income where as wealth is defined on the assets you have and how they’re being used.
True wealth has nothing to do with how much money you have in your bank or the car you drive.
It’s the sense of well-being, knowing you are ‘rich’ – it does not need to be seen by anyone but just you.
As how many people view money in different ways, power, authority, happiness and so on – some also sees it as a ‘relationship’.
Clarifying your relationship with money will determine whether money’s your master or slave – who’s controlling who.
So is your relationship with money is something stressful or a healthy one? Do you have a solid action plan on how to build assets with your money?
You see, if lack of money is giving you a negative impact, no wonder you’re not striking gold. Simply because your unconscious mind will ‘prevent’ you from pain and push it away.
You’ve heard about this a million times so I’m not going to write more about it.
The only way for you to know the answer is to look in the mirror and face the truth – because all of us hated or feared money at one time or another in our life.
When I was broke, money meant a lot to me, but that does not mean I like it.
Because the lack of it, I suffered ‘pain’. I was broke.
But noted that I was never poor.
You can take my money away and make me broke, but I will strive to stand up and play the game of money again – and win because I now know how the game is being played.
So the only way to overcome dissociation with money is to “ACCEPT” money into your life without fear or shame.
So if you want to be financially wealthy, don’t just sit and practice ‘law of attraction’? It’s more than that.
The key to remember here to creating wealth is having the “right thoughts” to attract what you want to experience in life. If you have thoughts that say “I will never have enough money” then that is what you will experience.
Developing the right mindset is how to attract money into your life.
You can start with being patient to obtain wealth. Or you can get really excited about it and magically have wealth come to you instead of you chasing it.
Solid plan will mean knowing what you want to achieve and how you’re going to get there.
You have to have a plan of action as well as the right mindset. The right mindset and then action will help you to create the wealth that you want.
The techniques and procedures for action are yours to choose. Taking actions need no explanation, and this is the part that is most failed.
Marry Your Money
How is your current relationship with money?
Take out a dollar bill and look at it.
Do you feel anything when you look at it?
Do you get a positive feeling?
A negative feeling?
A neutral feeling?
This exercise will help you get into touch with your true feelings about money.
Everything at its core is neutral to us until we attach a meaning to it.
If you abhor money and think it’s evil you will keep it away from you, you will repel it so to speak.
If you love money, enjoy having it, spending it and so on you will attract it to you.
If you feel negative about money I want you to change your relationship with it.
Start out by neutralizing your feelings about money.
Next, I want you to start getting excited about your money.
Think of money as a tool to become more of who you are.
Think of money as a means to express your uniqueness.
Think of money as a way to express your joy and appreciation towards other people.
Now look at your dollar bill and say, “I do.”
Tell it you will honor and respect it through thickness and thin.
Tell it you will not misuse it when you are feeling low.
Tell it you will attract more of it to you.
Tell it you will become a magnet for money in any way possible.
Money is a relationship like any other relationship.
Improve yourself, honor yourself, love yourself unconditionally and your relationship with money will improve tenfold.
