How to Manage These Challenging Times

Learn to apply and use your thoughts, your intentions, your ideas, and your words to rethink things again and again to learn as you go along. Use your thoughts to pave the way for the future you desire. Remember, your thoughts create your reality and your words create your reality as you speak them.

Work with reality in such a way that you are able to bend it according to your own intentions. Your intentions are polished and refined through obtaining higher awareness by learning to focus and direct your mind and your attention towards what you want to create.

Ask for what you want, say it out loud, and then stick with it. Fears will arise causing you to go back and forth with your desire. This will hamper the process of getting what you want. Stay focused on what you want and know that you will get it and don’t focus on how you will get it – just trust that you will.

Negative attitudes, limiting beliefs and mental confusions become self-fulfilling prophecies so you want to program your reality for how you want things to go.

Point blank, your subconscious mind (the body) believes whatever you tell it – so tell it things that will lead you to your goals. You do have goals right? I know you do, everyone does, but make sure those goals are constructive and growth oriented.

Try this exercise: Each day after you wake-up, but before you get out of bed, program your day. Below I have some sample affirmations for how you intend to experience your day.

Tell yourself these things daily as often as you can while tapping on your forehead between your eyebrows. You tap the space between your eyebrows because that is where your mental tape recorder is. Trust me it works.

  • I am always in the right place at the right time
  • Everything works out better than I imagined
  • I follow and listen to my inner guidance
  • Obstacles move effortlessly and easily out of my way
  • My health is improving daily
  • Today is going to be a great day
  • My bills are paid years in advance
  • Money flows to me abundantly effortlessly and easily
  • A simple, easy, fun life is natural for me

The Grounding Cord

“Being grounded is the key ability to have, contain, implement and maintain any of the empowering states with any consistency. Have you ever felt ungrounded or out-of-body when you are in surrounded by a lot of people? Do you have racing thoughts going through your head a million miles a minute? That is what it feels like to be ungrounded.

Grounding is a mental/imaginative exercise that allows you to feel connected and centered within yourself to help you bring your attention back into your body.

Imagine a large, strong rope coming out from the bottom of your feet and down into the center of the earth. At the bottom of this rope imagine a large gemstone like hematite or quartz crystal anchoring your rope to the center of the earth.

If all else fails try this.

Make an agreement with yourself to open your heart (spiritual center). Sometimes with the chronic stress most of us are dealing with we tend to shut down our heart center. Just say, “Okay heart, lets open back up, we are not a complete being when you are shut down.”

Aura

The aura is an electromagnetic energy field that surrounds all living things. You can expand and contract your aura at will. When in nature it’s okay to stretch and expand your aura, however you want to keep the aura close to your body when around people that you aren’t familiar with or anyone that is operating from a low state of consciousness or negative emotions.

Picture your aura about 6 inches out from your body. Imagine an egg shaped golden arch around your body – Gold from the front to the back and from right to left and left to right. This acts as a protection shield from external energies.

Do this as often as you can remember throughout the day.

You want to keep your aura strong by eating healthy, getting plenty of good sleep consistently, and moderate daily exercise and by not connecting yourself with people, places and things that are of a negative nature – negative meaning disempowering not necessarily news or circumstances you don’t like but need to accept.

It is believed that performing a smudging ceremony using white sage to clean your aura works well for repelling negative energies. You can also clean the air in your home or sacred space by smudging the area as often as you feel the need to.

Also, I like to keep bowls of salt around my house, especially in my office and my bedroom to attract negative energies to it instead of me. Swimming in salt water at the beach or taking an Epsom Salt or Rock Salt bath works as well.

Intuition

Intuition is an inner subconscious knowing without the conscious waking mind knowing how. Some people refer to it as a “gut feeling” or some other sensation in the body. Remember, you operate on many levels and the conscious mind is one of many.

Learning to use and trust your intuition is paramount during these challenging times because as we all have learned the conscious waking mind can be “not always reliable”.  Foods, drinks, stress, negative environments and lack of good sleep, EMF, and other harmful external energies can impair the mind and its ability to think clearly and rationally.

This is where intuition comes into play. The body doesn’t lie.  It is designed to work harmoniously with itself and once you understand this you can allow your intuition to be your primary guiding force when it comes to life and life decisions.

Yes, the conscious mind (ego) will attempt to second guess intuition, but tell it to sit back, relax and watch how life unfolds much easier when we learn to use and work with our own inner guidance system called intuition.

Worry Free

“Properly tuned and maintained, imagination serves as an extraordinary catalyst to creativity, invention, and new possibilities. But left wandering and unattended, imagination can infect and cripple your mind. In fact, it’s a special form of imagination — “Unconscious Daydreaming” — that is the actual cause of practically every fear, phobia, anxiety, depression, worry, anger, defeat, disappointment, panic, and dissatisfaction you will ever face.

Somehow your own imagination had turned against you. And all it did was feed you one frightening image after another. Which means the real crisis was never the condition, but the fact you’d gotten carried away by a torrent of fearful imagination! Guy Finley

Change the definition from worry to concern. Worrying weakens your immune system and nervous system and makes it nearly impossible to imagine and create your life the way you want to. Learn to use your imagination to imagine the best possible outcomes you can imagine.

Don’t let your mind terrorize you with worst possible scenario thinking. Simply rise above your thoughts and see circumstances for what they really are.

Joy

Reconnect with what makes you happy. Get a massage, go for a walk in nature, plant a garden, watch a good movie, create something.

Try to remember a time when you were young and you felt tremendous joy.

It could be during a family outing like a vacation. Or it could have been playing on the beach with your siblings, or going to your favorite amusement park. Whatever it was, remember those times when you felt immense joy and allow those feelings to permeate through your being.

This will refresh the mind, open the heart and allow you to have clear thinking. While you’re at it, do the same thing with things that made you laugh hysterically.

Thinking Clearly/Cognitive Failure/Think for Yourself

How many times have you walked into a room and forgotten why you went there? The attention span of humans is almost non-existent these days.

We have to keep our wits about us in these times. We have been programmed to have others do our thinking for us instead of thinking for ourselves. We must preserve the ability to think for ourselves and come to our own conclusions through clear thinking.

When you’re not a clear thinker you make big mistakes.

Over the years I’ve improved my health by cutting out people, foods and activities that blur my thinking. You want to make sure your diet is low in sugar and artificial products because this will cause confusion in your thinking. Also, I make sure to spend lots of time outside during the warm months. This includes working in my garden (both plant and vegetable), going for walks, watching the evening skies and gazing at the moon.

One practice I started was programming my vegetable seeds before I plant them. I talk to them, I tell them, “Grow big,” or “Grow into a great, big, healthy garden bean.” Plants as people do, respond well to positive attention.

Believe it or not, plants are living organisms while they are still in the ground that is, and yes they respond well to positive attention and commands.

Also, electronic devices are addictive so I make sure not to spend too much time on my phone, iPad or laptop than necessary.

Wi-Fi signals are everywhere and we are electromagnetic/chemical beings so I am certain that Wi-Fry is causing disturbances in our energy fields to some degree. This is why I make sure daily to give myself time to rest, relax, unwind and replenish my energy field, nervous system, and immune system.

I also make sure to turn off the Wi-Fi in my home before going to bed.

Healthier Eating

I’ve been eating a ketogenic diet for several months now. Ketogenic is when your body uses fat for fuel – (Aff Link). The only way to get into ketosis is by eliminating sugar as well as foods and drinks that spike your insulin.

(I do have my off days btw.) Cheat meals or snacks but never a “full cheat day.”

Don’t be full of shit. I was full of shit like most people, literally. The Modern diet is full of crap that never fully digests and clogs up your stomach and intestines while overworking the gallbladder, pancreas, heart and other vital internal organs.

Know How to Grow Food

Do you know how to grow your own food?

People have lost the art of growing their own food and sadly most don’t even want to know how, yet food is something none of us can live without.

I have been gardening since 1998. Before that I had absolutely no interest in it whatsoever. However owning a home inspired in me the “Want” of knowing and understanding plants, where to place them (sun or shade), watering, feeding, getting seeds from the old plant and reusing them.

In 2009 I started a vegetable garden in my backyard. I have a 20×20 vegetable garden that is fenced in to keep out the critters. Every year I have improved my gardening skills including saving seeds from crops,  and reusing them later in the season or the next year, organic composting to feed the soil, knowing where to plant crops in the garden, managing insect damage, and building trellises for crops to grow on.

A couple of summer’s ago I bought a Montgomery Ward Tiller at a yard sale down the street from my home for $25. It works great and it starts every time I need it to.

Some plants in my garden reseed themselves every year like Cherry Tomatoes’, kale and Garden Beans. During the growing season they sprout up in random places and I usually move them to an empty spot in one of the garden rows.

This year I placed an emphasis on cruciferous vegetables like spinach, lettuce and collard greens for their detoxifying abilities. They grow much easier than plants that need a lot of water like cucumber, melons, zucchini, eggplant and squash.

Last year as an experiment I grew an indoor avocado plant from the seed of an avocado that I bought from the store. It’s already three feet tall but it may be some years before it bears any fruit. I also have lemon saplings growing in the same pot.

When the human body and the Planet we live on become our main priorities in regards to caring for nurturing and maintaining, you will see a global shift in the right direction for humanity.

Speaking of the planet, which is an extension of the human body, make sure you are beautifying it as much as you can. If you see trash on the ground, no matter where you are, pick it up and throw it in the trash.

Every act of caring towards the planet multiplies across the earth to other people. We need to show how much we love, honor, and respect the planet that 7 Billion people and counting call “home.”

Be a Producer not just a Consumer

Produce something, anything.

We consume way more than we produce individually. Make something, create something, be someone that produces rather than just consumes. Repurpose, reuse and recycle as much as you can these days. I know if you are a regular reader of this blog you probably already recycle.

I am very fortunate to live in a place that picks up my recycling container weekly. I have to say, my family and I fill up our recycling trashcan each week. Currently we buy bottled water but I have been looking at a Reverse Osmosis Sink Filter –(Aff link)and perhaps pair that up with a Zero Water Filter –(Aff Link) that will be on my kitchen counter.

Invest in Your Personal Growth

Don’t ever stop learning, never stop growing, never stop improving yourself.

Personal growth is when you improve yourself inside and out. Learning to become more patient is personal growth, learning computer coding is also personal growth. Anything that creates an expansion and positive change from who you were to who you want to be is considered personal growth.

I consciously began my personal growth journey in 1997. To invest in yourself is a sign of self-responsibility. It’s much easier to blame other people for your failings than it is to do something about it but when you do that you stagnate your growth because you are locked in a victim mentality.

I’ve read over 700 books and counting about personal growth, health and nutrition, metaphysical studies and business and money matters. In this day and age you have to always be improving at least one aspect of yourself.

Start with your health, than move into handling your money, and then learn a skill or two. The key is to never stop improving but remember always, to take breaks and rest and recharge yourself just like you do your cell phone.

Personal Growth is crucial to the well-being of yourself and the planet. When you become more aware, healthier, more thoughtful and more open-minded and more balanced you are no longer a burden to others or the planet.

Investing in your personal growth is one of the most unselfish things you could do – so start now or keep at it if you have already begun your personal development journey. You see, when you heal yourself, when you improve yourself, when you are comfortable in your own skin, you help to heal everyone and everything on the planet.

This is known as the 100th Monkey Effect. I hear so many spiritual oriented people wondering what their purpose is. This is it, it’s about investing in your personal growth, it’s about healing old wounds, letting go of toxic behaviors and addictions, and it’s about exercising your body and eating healthy, nutritious foods.

Too many get caught up thinking they can fix the world “out there.” The real work, the real fixing is within each and every one of you. You have to go deep within your being, within your mind with a bright light of awareness and see what limiting beliefs and habits you have about yourself and replace them positive beliefs and habits.

This is the reason you are here on Earth, to heal personal, familial and the collective’s negative traits like, anger, fear, greed, ego and the belief that you’re not enough which will contribute to a more evolved and united humanity.

Get Done What Needs to Get Done

In your home, in your car, at your work, keep everything neat, clean and orderly. Get rid of the needless clutter and keep your space and surroundings simple. Do it like the military does. Beds are made first, eat something, do your work, tidy up and then rest and recharge. It’s a simple system and it works.

Put things back where they belong, write down important events on your calendar, brush your teeth, floss, shower, shave, buy nice clothes, wear good shoes, get a haircut, donate items you no longer use.

Prioritize the important things in life and let go of the rest.

Be Informed Instead of Entertained

This is a big one for many of you who read my blog. You understand the importance of raising your consciousness; you understand the importance of using your inner bullshit meter when watching the news or reading something online.

But for many people, they would rather be entertained than informed about what is really going on. Many people distract themselves with the news, most of it distorted, or meaningless sports or playing games on their phones or other electronic devices.

These things will not bring you to higher awareness.

Entertainment is okay for entertainment purposes; however make it a small part of your daily life. You’re better off taking a nap or resting in a hammock than wasting hours browsing on the internet or watching violent movies or reading about the latest misfortunes of others, or getting caught up in the political circus.

I would recommend you broaden your mind and read about topics that would otherwise not interest you. Learn about your body and how it responds to people, places and things. Learn about the world you live in and the people on it through experience and not by what the media tells you to think.

Study the stars, watch the animals in the wild, and listen to birds sing. Look up into the sky and watch, look down at the ground and tell me what you see. There is life all around you; you just need to take your focus away from all the distractions.

Minimize Stress

Learn to say no. No is a healthy boundary for you to set. It’s okay to disappoint others expectations of you from time to time. In fact, it is very powerful. Also, do your best to avoid people who are perpetually negative downers and energy drainers. It’s not weak to avoid people you don’t like; it is indeed an act of self-preservation. I’d rather be alone than with people who have no personal integrity, are time wasters and Debbie downer types.

Create a sacred space for yourself to rest and recharge. Darth Vader had one of these – his meditation chamber. Create one inside your house and outside if you can.

I know we live in this age of the “hustle” mentality where we need to be productive and reaching our goals 24/7. However, when we sacrifice our health for material gain we haven’t really gained anything at all.

The real wealth is health. Health first, everything second – period. Yes, many of us are not independently wealthy or retired yet, so yes, we need to work. And when you do work, give it your best, don’t half-ass your work, however, be sure to rest and recharge and get away from work too.

The more you reduce stress, the easier it will be to become a whole person and to have clear thinking.

Tools for minimizing stress:

  • Yoga
  • Breathing Exercises/Breath work
  • Walking/Hiking
  • Qi Gong
  • Sleeping
  • Meditation (Clear your mind of all thoughts, then focus on something you wish to create)
  • Laughter – Very Important to laugh
  • Aromatherapy – Burn scented candles, incense, sniff Fresh Rosemary
  • Soothing Music
  • Go to a quiet beach and chill

As reported by The New York Times:

“After adjusting for age, sex, income and other factors, they found that for each additional hour of work per week over 10 years, there was a 1 percent increase in the risk for heart disease.

Compared with working 45 hours a week, working 55 hours increased the risk by 16 percent, 60 hours by 35 percent, 65 hours by 52 percent, and 70 hours by 74 percent.

Working 75 hours or more doubled the risk for a cardiovascular problem — angina, coronary heart disease, hypertension, stroke or heart attack.”

Stress levels are at an all-time high. We can become stressed just being around someone else who is stressed. We can become stressed with demands from other people; we can become stressed from just too much responsibility.

In these times we need to simplify our lives as much as possible.

Manage Your Mind

The mind can create problems when left unattended. Be conscious of your thoughts and reaction patterns to events as much as possible. What helped me in my personal growth journey was becoming aware of my mental thought patterns to situations and also my reaction patterns.

I’m a big fan of watching inspirational movies and YouTube videos that keep me positive, inspired, and working towards a brighter future.

Use your mind to soothe your body instead of stressing it out. Think soothing thoughts while being present in the moment.

The mind is a collective mind. It’s shared across the planet. Most of us have limiting beliefs that we inherited from other people we were exposed to. Take your time each day to rise above the unconscious thinking mind and just observe life without judgement.

If you react negatively to a situation ask yourself these questions:

  • Was I fully present when I reacted negatively? (Usually No)
  • How Could I have handled this differently?
  • What was I thinking when I reacted this way?
  • Could this be about something or someone else?

Choose to have a strong presence within yourself as much as possible. As you raise your awareness you will notice other people’s negative reaction patterns and their limiting beliefs, behaviors and attitudes. Use this to catapult yourself into an intense presence practice.

Meditation is all about training yourself to be present in the moment. To be present in the moment means you’re not thinking about the past or worrying about the future. When you can train yourself to be present you will have a self-command that very few have.

Let go of yourself and get yourself out of the way. What we believe as being ourselves consists as a mental construct. Our beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, memories, experiences, thoughts, feelings, ideas do not belong to us. They are not as meaningful as we think they are.

If you could train yourself to let go of your problems, to forget them instead of feeding them with your attention, you will notice that “your problems” will disappear. The reason your problems persist is because you spend so much time and energy trying to understand them, to fix them, to do something about them.

Be a Good Money Manager

You must learn to be a magnet to attract work, to attract wealth because there is no shortage of money in the world and it could end up in your pocket just as easy as it could in someone else’s.

Money doesn’t care who owns it but you need to know how to earn it, and how to save it, and how to spend consciously. Every person reading this needs to make saving a portion of their money a regular habit.

Have $1000, $4000, and even $10,000 available in your savings as quickly as you can.

According to a report in the Washington Post:

About 46 percent of Americans said they did not have enough money to cover a $400 emergency expense. Instead, they would have to put it on a credit card and pay it off over time, borrow from friends or family, or simply not cover it at all.”

What happens if you give a child an entire large bag of candy? Yes, they will eat the entire thing. The same goes with money. Be savvy with your spending; be conscious of your money and how you use it.

Every wealthy person I know is extremely money conscious. They know how much they have, they know what they spent it on, they generally don’t buy frivolous things and they certainly never pay the retail price for anything.

When making a purchase, always try to get a deal, go to yard sales, and buy from Thrift Shops. Before buying something on impulse ask yourself, “Do I really need this?”

One more thing about money, don’t rely on just one stream of income, it’s too risky. Even if you have a full-time job, you would be wise to create another stream of income. This could come from getting a second job, or selling items on eBay, or starting a website, or investing your money in the stock market or real estate as a few examples. One income stream is just too dangerous these days.

Back to Basics

Starting in 1987 and up until now; globally we experienced a quickening. It seemed as if time was flying by too quickly. The quickening is still happening and we need to adjust accordingly. Something has occurred that makes it appear that time is and has been speeding up. I’ve even heard that our day experience according to the way our mind perceives it is more like 16 hours than 24.

Perhaps this mad daily rush that I see every day is caused by people trying to cram a 24 hour day into 16 hour day. Either way, we need to slow it down.

Imagine you were alive during the 1950s. Life moved at a much slower pace and so did we. Imagine you can bring the pace from the 1950s to your current reality. Make this pace your new norm as much as possible because if you don’t there is a high probability of burning out and breaking down.

Humans are working harder and harder, multi-tasking to the extent that we can no longer think, because we don’t have time. The Pleiadians call this “functional insanity”, which I think is a great description of the situation. The result, however, is that many people get so caught up in the fast pace of life, which is intentionally created, that we don’t have time to think about deeper issues that would actually help solve our problems. The immediate resolution is to slow down! We need to stay calm, meditate, and calm down the frantic energies, or we’ll succumb.”

We need to stop rushing through life. This is where command of the self is needed. Yes, rushing through life gives a temporary feeling of self-importance but it also takes away your ability to be in the present moment. Remember, Only Fools Rush In.

  • Always do the speed limit, even when you are running behind
  • When walking through the isle of a grocery store, walk at 70% your normal pace
  • When getting dressed in the morning, do this at 50% your normal speed.
  • Pause for a second or two before answering someone’s question

The physical body wasn’t designed to deal with high amounts of stress. It wasn’t designed to live in cramped neighborhoods; it wasn’t designed to be bombarded by Wi-Fi and EMF. It wasn’t designed to work in high stress environments. So be easy and gentle on yourselves and other people too.

We live in a time when anti-depressants, drug and alcohol abuse, and other addictions are rampant. Why? Because the body is being kept from its natural state of being which is freedom and joy.

All stress symptoms are a signal to your brain that something is out of alignment. If you have chronic back pain then your spine may be out of alignment. If you have chronic irritability than your adrenal glands could be overworked and need a long rest.

Cut back on the caffeine, the high stress news and entertainment, the sugary snacks, and dramatic, problematic people. Mow your lawn, wash the dishes, grow a garden, declutter your home, sit under the stars, make a campfire and sit around roasting marshmallows and chat with friends.

Slow and easy is the way of the future. You see, when you are perpetually under some form of fear, worry, or stress you lose your ability to think clearly. When you don’t think clearly you make poor decisions.

Let go of the art of busy, let go of the need to always be productive. Sit back, relax and enjoy yourself daily for this is why you are human – To enjoy the body, to enjoy nature, to enjoy the good company of others.

Lift Yourself Up

“Man in his present state on your planet must change in order to survive. Many things will take place on this planet. Therefore man will have to change with the planet.

This solar system is moving into an area of space where the vibrations are much higher. This will cause changes in your planet’s features. It will also cause changes in your peoples.

The vibrations on the planet will become higher. Therefore man will have to raise his vibrations in order to exist on your planet. These vibrations can only be raised by the people’s thinking: thinking better thoughts of everything in the creation, more spiritual thinking, thoughts that will lift the people of Earth out of the darkness and mud they have lived in for so long.

This planet and solar system are moving into a new area of vibrations in which conditions as they are now on this planet will not survive.

Many, many planets live as we do. However, there are others that do not, because they have not come to the understanding of life of which we have. They are beginning to understand, however, some more slowly than others.

Our life is an ideal way of life. We have everything in plenty. Everyone is free. We do not try to rule one another. Our children are allowed to express themselves, not the wishes of the parents, as you call them. Each individual is ruled by none but the Creator.
