Change Your Life – Change Your Destiny

Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” -Leo Tolstoy

The coaching student says to me, “I want to change my life, yet I am afraid of the uncertainty of it all”.

Managing change and dealing with change can be challenging, but eventually we get used to the changes in no time.

That is the first thing I ask my coaching students when we talk on the phone. Do You Have the Guts to change your destiny?

Many of them are taken back by the blunt statement even though they already know the answer to the question.

I can’t escort anyone from where they are to where they want to be without some honesty.

In life, we need to become our own conscious leader instead of becoming an unconscious follower. My blog, my coaching, my life is not about creating followers. I would rather live on a planet full of cooperative leaders then uncooperative followers.

Why so many unhappy people

Each day I come across many unhappy people in this world because I can feel the truth of what is within them.

I am an empath and one of the perks of being an empath is knowing when someone is being dishonest with me. There is nothing wrong with feeling the way you feel because they are your feelings. So own them and allow them, but by all means, never resist them.

I encounter many talented people each day, and many of them are stuck in jobs they hate, paying bills they wish they weren’t indebted to.

Most of them are scared to make a change, yet they stay stuck because the known is way more comfortable then the unknown.

The biggest challenge I see for mankind is their unwillingness to make a change even when the change would serve them.

Humans are wired to resist change, and resistance is the number one obstacle to personal growth.

Remember, you are not your body, nor should you let the limitations of your mind stop you from doing what would serve you best.

Besides writing posts on my blog which I love to do, I also derive great satisfaction by helping people reach their goals. It doesn’t matter what your age or background is, making a change is hard and it’s even harder to do alone.

That is one of the reasons I recommend you get yourself a coach to help keep you on track so you don’t get caught up in the “failures of life syndrome.”

Changing the toilet paper

You never ever really fail, you just haven’t succeeded yet. I don’t care what new venture you are into at the moment, you are not a failure unless you quit.

Goals don’t have deadlines, so there is absolutely no reason to beat yourself up just because you haven’t gotten to where you want to be.

Blogging was/is a huge personal growth experience for me because it forced me to go outside my comfort zone. Granted, being outside your comfort zone can feel dangerous, but want to know what is more dangerous? Complacency and doing what everyone else is doing.

You do not want to follow the herd because that is always a dangerous thing to do.

Just take a look at all the successful business people in the world. Most of them started out with nothing other than a vision and a hopeful outcome for themselves.

Shark Tank TV Show

My favorite television show is Shark Tank. Besides being a personal and spiritual growth minded person, I am a huge fan of business.

I love Shark Tank because it allows me to see both sides of the business equation. I get to see how a venture capitalist thinks and I also get to experience what it’s like for beginner entrepreneurs trying to expand their business.

No doubt business can be brutal, but it can also be sweet when you’ve done your homework and made adequate enough sales to “spark” the interest of would be investors. It also doesn’t hurt to have a cooperative attitude and to know your business numbers too when courting investors in your business.

Personal business is the future and we need to stop bashing people who earn money by being creative.

You are a business, you are a brand, and you need to value yourself enough to quit your 9 to 5 and leave the rat race so you can create a lifestyle that is in alignment with your higher values.

You need to stop bashing your Governments (you are your Governments) because you can easily change them. You need to stop bashing your banking institutions because you allowed them to be there.

You need to stop bashing wealthy people just because they had the balls to take risks and succeed financially by doing it.

You need to focus on creating multiple streams of income because the days of having one steady job are over. You can’t rely on one income stream anymore because life is moving way to fast and businesses/jobs end as quickly as one begins.

I would suggest you try an income stream that involves a low start- up cost like blogging or perhaps even a MLM type of business. You won’t know if you don’t try and please never take anyone else’s word for it when it comes to experience because everyone’s experience is not the same.

I know you have something about you, something you can do better than anyone else. Your job this week is to discover exactly what that is and then monetize it.

I can assure you that the world is changing very fast and it seems scary because many things that appeared stable are crumbling as we speak.

Do not fear change; embrace it because change is the one constant in our Universe.

Time is speeding up, our days are more like 16 hours instead of 24 hours so there is no need to try to cram so much “to do’s” in our day.

Flow with it, go with it, relax with it, but please don’t hurry the day. It does not serve you to do so; rather it works against you because what you push on pushes back.

Your focus this year should be on what you want to create. Forget the life you had up until this point unless you want to recall the “good times.” The “bad times” were created by you to provide contrast for you that’s all.

What’s the easiest way to think of the perfect life for you? Think of the worst life for you and create the opposite. What you focus on expands, and also comes into physical manifestation so be sure to center your thoughts on what you want.

Also, be sure to surround yourself with like-minded people who are positively aligned for the most part. No- one person is perfect but we can all tell who really wants to move up in life and who is just faking it.

Bashar -There are only Four Laws in Creation:

  1. You exist.
  2. The One is All and the All are One .
  3. What you put out is what you get back.
  4. Change is the only constant…

Except for the first three laws, which never change.
